THE YARD AT PLANT

VISUAL IDENTITY & WEBSITE DESIGN

I’ve been a big fan of The Yard since they first opened the doors to their cafe and event space in the Candovers - so it was lovely to be asked to help with a website and visual identity as they embark on an exciting new chapter with the opening of a second location in Basingstoke.

While the setting in a shiny new office building is markedly different to the farm headquarters - their commitment to quality, gorgeous pared back aesthetic, and warm and authentic approach remain at the heart of their brand, and these were the qualities I thought of often in developing the visual identity and website.

I started by subtly expanding on the colour palette and typography to create an identity that balances the beauty and simplicity of the original concept with the qualities of the new location. I then carefully adapted The Yard’s original wheel icon to reflect their new home within the Plant complex

The bespoke website design needed to be a clear and simple communication of the brand’s offering to the Plant & wider Basing View community. Customers are able to view and order corporate hospitality packages online and get a good feel for all that we know and love about The Yard.

“We are completely delighted with the logo & website that Rebecca created for us. Her ability to translate our vision & design concepts into a cohesive & professional brand identity was truly impressive. The website is not only visually stunning but also straightforward to navigate. Throughout the process, Rebecca was lovely to collaborate with - attentive, creative, and dedicated to ensuring every detail was perfect. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to elevate their online presence.”
